Own Your AI Meeting Notes: Install

1. Move "Own Your AI Meeting Notes.app" into your Applications folder.
2. First launch only: right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose
Open, then Open again. This one-time step tells macOS you trust the app.
3. macOS will ask for the microphone the first time you press Record. It
has to, because recording is the whole product.

Then: press Record when the meeting starts, and Stop when it ends. You get
the transcript, a summary, the decisions, and the action items, each one
timestamped back to the moment it was said.

What it records, plainly: macOS only hands an app the microphone. In a room,
that is everyone. On a video call, it is your side plus whatever your
speakers are playing. With headphones on, the far side is not captured. If
you have a loopback or aggregate input set up, choose it in Settings and it
records both sides.

The first transcription downloads a speech model, once, about 140MB. After
that it works with no connection at all.

Nothing is uploaded. Recordings are plain WAV files in
~/Library/Application Support/Own Your AI Meeting Notes/Recordings, so they
are still yours if you stop using this app.

The summary and action items are quoted straight from your transcript. Install
Ollama (ollama.com) and pull a model, and it writes them instead, still on
this Mac. The one setting that sends anything off the machine is an
OpenRouter key, and its label says so.
